BAA overseas subscription (letter)

I am appalled to find that my BAA subscription for private membership costs £20 as I now live in France, as opposed to the UK subscription rate of £12. Why is this? Postal rates to EEC countries are the same as within the UK. So does the BAA have a policy to soak members living outside the UK? I look forward to a change in policy and a refund of £8.

ED: Sorry David, but the postage rates are not the same on packets, only on letters under 20gm (a 220gm Vector costs £0.88 airmail printed paper, as against £0.49 second class postage within the UK). However EC countries are considerably cheaper than the rest of the world, so perhaps the committee should take note.
