APL2 is IBM’s strategic interactive programming language; APL2/6000 brings this powerful and productive environment to the IBM RISC System/6000 family of processors. It is a full nested array implementation under AIX, compatible with mainframe APL2 and APL2 on the PC.
The APL2/6000 session manager has the same “look and feel” as the PC and host APL products, with the added benefit of a new AP to give you a programmable interface to X-Windows, including mouse support.
