LearnAPL Apprenticeship Scheme Announced¶
Dyalog Ltd and Optima Systems Ltd are very pleased to announce a joint apprenticeship scheme aimed at an individual looking to expand their knowledge into the exciting world of APL. LearnAPL will be a challenging and ultimately rewarding initiative which will give the chosen applicant unique access to the Vendor, Developer and also the users of APL. A permanent position is offered on successful completion of the scheme which will be tailored to the needs of the applicant and can be run in parallel with existing or planned college education. The aim is flexibility of approach and for all parties to gain maximum benefit from the experience.
We will be looking for an exceptional candidate, one who is passionate about the I.T. industry, and who has already shown strong aptitude for picking up and using new ideas. The LearnAPL experience will be a two way process as both sponsoring companies want to understand the needs and perceptions of new entrants as well as just simply passing on knowledge.
The candidate must be able to travel between our two sites in Hampshire and West Sussex and be eligible to work in the UK. No previous experience of APL is necessary as all training in this area will be provided. This opportunity is open to anyone to apply and we are equal opportunity employers.
Anyone interested in this position should, in the first instance, submit a brief C.V. to either Morten Kromberg or Paul Grosvenor together with a short statement detailing why you think you should be considered. There is no specific time limit for applications but we would hope to fill the position by the end of November.
This is a unique opportunity and we look forward to working with the successful applicant.
